What Oviedo will be like....

I am excited to studying in Spain. I am a very hands-on learner so living with a host family and being able to apply the Spanish that I learn, will be great. At first I might struggle with becoming accustomed to the accent and the rate of speech, however I think I will catch on fast. It might be a little awkward at first trying to communicate with people, but hopefully this will pass! I think Spain will be very different from the United States, not only in language, but in the rich culture and history of the country. I am excited to experience the food and what life in Spain is really like. The buildings and the homes in Spain are not only older, but much more beautiful because of their age and attention to detail, I cannot wait to explore and see what the city has architecturally.
